Four items:
1) For those interested in the renewal of worship, most especially those who have an "Ancient / Future" orientation, check out both "The Odes Project" and the new Ancient Future Faith Network. The first Annual conference, featuring Dr. Christopher Hall and at least one TSM Professor, will be held this June.
2) Check out the most recent edition of Forward in Faith for the first in my series on iconography. [editor's note: "Visio-Divina," was published in the 2011 Christmas Edition, Vol. 4 No 4 of Forward in Christ. This article is not yet available online. Father Don has three more articles planned on this topic.]
3) Supposedly, at least I hope, my next book (A Short Season in Hell: Meditations on Dante) should be released this year by The Episcopal Recorder, Inc.
4) A HEARTY welcome to Fr. Henry Birkinbine who was ordained a priest two weeks ago by Bishop Winfield Mott, Diocese of the West/REC/ACNA.

Retreat Conferences
Father Don Richmond and Abbot Emeritus Francis Benedict, OSB, will be guiding a retreat addressing the issue of Creed as Prayer and Practice. Beginning on July 23, 2012 at St. Andrew's Abbey in Valyermo, California, Fathers Richmond and Benedict will accomplish four broad goals: (1) Intellectually challenge participants regarding the nature of Creeds, (2) Emotionally motivate participants to engage with the Creeds far more personally, (3) Physically orient participants to the Creeds highly practical content, (4) Help participants become far more available to spiritual reawakening and renewal through the priority, principles, and practices of creedal living. Further information can be found on the Abbey website: http://www.saintandrewsabbey.com/Default.asp
